About
A study aid for NCC cadets, built around the way the syllabus is actually taught and examined.
A cadet preparing for Certificate B has a précis, a set of notes from a parade, and whatever question papers have been passed around the unit. The material exists. What is missing is a way through it — an order to study in, a way to find out whether any of it has stuck, and an honest answer to "am I ready?"
Cadexa is that. Every chapter of the syllabus has a lesson written for it, a test that follows the lesson, and a record of how you did.
Lessons are written from the NCC précis, chapter by chapter, in our own words — the tables, the figures and the points the paper asks for. Nothing is reproduced from the handbooks.
The rule we hold ourselves to is that nothing is asked that was not first taught. Every question in a chapter's bank is covered by that chapter's lesson, and it is checked automatically each time the app is updated — not assumed, and not left to a reviewer to notice.
The syllabus is not one thing. A cadet sits A, B and C in successive years, and each wing studies its own specialised subject alongside the common ones. So the app shows a cadet their own wing and their own certificate, and the plans are priced the same way. An Air Force cadet is not shown Seamanship, and is not asked to pay for it.
Much of the NCC is under 18, and the app is built for that rather than around it. A parent or guardian consents to a minor's account and is the contracting party for anything bought. A minor's full name is never shown to other cadets — a leaderboard shows "Arjun M.", not a thirteen-year-old's full name to strangers.
Cadexa is an independent study aid. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to the National Cadet Corps, the Ministry of Defence or the Government of India. It does not issue certificates, conduct examinations, or influence any result.
Examination dates, syllabus and results come from your unit and from the NCC. Where our material and an official instruction differ, the official instruction is right.
